Our office employs many types of new technology. These technologies benefit the patient by offering improved diagnosis and care.
Approximately 30% smaller than more traditional style brackets, Micro Arch® brackets enable patients to achieve a beautiful and healthy smile less noticeably and more comfortably. With it’s low profile and smooth finish, Micro Arch® offers superior patient comfort and also assists the patient in maintaining good oral hygiene. These brackets are made with aerospace quality steel, which provides superior strength compared to other brackets made with other materials.
In-Ovation® C(Clear) Braces
In-Ovation® C brackets are made of a translucent (clear) material that have a much lower profile than other braces available today, reducing the typical discomfort associated with wearing braces. This type of braces has no need for the use of elastics or metal ties, which will prevent the staining associated with other “clear” braces. This makes it easier to keep your teeth and braces clean, allowing you to look good and feel confident about your smile both during and after your orthodontic treatment. An additional benefit to using In-Ovation braces is the faster results that are achieved with fewer appointments and shorter treatment time.
Digital x-rays reduce the amount of radiation needed as compared to film x-rays. The improved diagnostic capability of digital x-rays and the ability to view the x-rays on a computer screen allow the patient to better understand and follow treatment. Digital x-rays are instant, so there is no longer a need to develop the film. Digital x-rays save time and increase patient care. It’s also a very green technology. By eliminating film, developer and chemical waste, digital x-rays are better for both the patient and the environment!
Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Using Electronic Medical Records, our practice is able to quickly and accurately access patient information in order to provide the utmost in patient care. This helps to ensure patient confidentiality as well as reduce the need for paper. Using a digital format allows for quick access to patient information when needed for insurance records while providing a secure filing system.
Digital Flat Screen Monitors
Monitors are found throughout our office. Patients can view their diagnostic photographs and digital x-rays when speaking to the doctor about the findings for a better understanding of their oral health and treatment progress.
Our office offers free Wi-Fi for our patients use while visiting our office.
